Sodium formate, sodium pyrosulfite and liquid SO2 are synthesized in methanol medium to generate insurance powder suspension, which is then transferred to a four in one dryer for filtration, washing and vacuum drying. Soda ash is added into the package. The ratio of sodium formate to insurance powder is 0.5:1


Insurance powder is mainly used in textile and printing and dyeing industries as dye aid and bleach. It is also the raw material of pharmaceutical industry and synthetic dyes. It is also used in copper plate printing and analytical reagents.


The main uses of insurance powder are as follows:


1) In the textile industry, insurance powder is used as a reducing agent for reduction dyeing, a votive wool bleaching agent, a printing aid for reduction dyes, a scouring and bleaching agent for silk, a stripping agent for dyed fabrics and a cleaning agent for dye vats.


2) In the pulp and paper industry, insurance powder is used as bleach for mechanical pulp, thermally ground mechanical pulp and deinked pulp.


3) In the food industry, insurance powder is used as bleach and food preservative for sugar, candy, preserves, biscuits, vermicelli, etc.


4) As a reducing bleaching agent, it is widely used in the bleaching of kaolin; Bleaching and reducing whitening of fur; Bleaching of bamboo products and straw woven products, etc.


5) Used as reducing agent in chemical industry.
