Application:
Calcium formate can be used as a new feed additive. Calcium supplementation of calcium formate, with calcium formate as a pig feed additive, can promote piglets appetite and reduce diarrhea rate. In the first few weeks after weaning , 1.5% calcium formate was added to the feed, which increased the growth rate of piglets by more than 12% and the feed conversion rate by 4%.
