It has reducibility, so it has very weak corrosivity to metal, and basically will not cause damage to drilling tools, downhole equipment and materials, thus avoiding the use of NaCl, KCl The corrosion problem caused by the preparation of clean brine drilling fluid by halides such as CaCl2 (even if the corrosion inhibitor is added, it will inevitably cause serious damage to the drilling tools). The use of potassium formate drilling fluid can effectively protect the drilling tools and downhole equipment, so as to reduce the production cost.


5. It is non-toxic and has the function of organic potassium fertilizer. The waste liquid can be recycled and biodegraded naturally, which can not only meet the requirements of environmental protection, but also significantly reduce the cost of post-treatment.
